Sarah-Helen Snow Vineland Ne US	I bought this item as a friend of mine had made me a lovely pin with ribbons attached to it in the style worn by Victorian ladies around the Civil War times. Attached to this pin are several ribbons and the point of this contraption was for ladies to have at hand their glasses, scissors or timepieces (whatever they might need), readily accessible if they didn't have pockets. I portray a lady from our town's history who in 1868 organised 172 ladies to vote in the presidential elections of that year - 52 years BEFORE women get the vote here in USA!!!!! I will attending a poetry tea next month, and so I was looking for something suitable to attach to my pin. I was delighted to find this monocle & will actual use it when I read my poem....

sir george... sydney au	briliant product, well worth what i paid for it, though the packaging was a little silly, as it was a foot long box, containing a small plastic bag, containing a faux velvet bag, containing the monocule, none the less, well worth it, it was kind of funny actually.

Brent Central Florida	Not truely a monocle but serves the purpose. The chain is very nice but I'll keep that for something else and used a thin black string tie and put snaps on the ends to join them. The nifty velvet bag it comes in is perfect for a money bag of coins, brothel tokens, etc.

Periain UT	The monocle looks great, and magnifies well, but its diameter is a bit too large for it to properly stay perched on the eye. No monopoly guy look for me with this one.

one eye jack	The object felt cheap to the touch. The chain broke within a day of normal use getting a feel for the item. The optics of the lens are fine and I use it for detailed inspection of merchandise. More a novelty item than serious eye piece.
