Adventure in style in this terrific mid-calf men's boot.
Flexible faux leather finish, with sturdy rubber lug sole and 1" heel. Zipper for easy on-off, and simple sizing. The boot shaft measures 15-16" tall from the sole of the foot (not including the heel) to the top of the boot. The calf circumference ranges from 16.5" to approximately 19". Imported.
A note about our costume boots: These are real shoes, not shoe covers, and have good quality basic construction (glue, stitching, etc.,) that will stand up to casual use. They are made of polyurethane to keep the pricing reasonable, but are suitable for any performance or historical setting. Certain modern elements, e.g. zippers, have been added for your convenience.

The boots are not as realistic (leather) looking as they appear in the photograph. This is certainly not helped by the way they are packaged, which leaves creases that don't want to come out. Wearing them around for a few hours seems to help the crease situation, and a little shoe polish helps the finish.
Others have mentioned the zippers as a problem. I was careful zipping and unzipping mine, and did not have a problem.
As for comfort, they're not bad, but I took the insoles out of an old pair of shoes and dropped them in. This made a world of difference, and I was able to spend an entire day walking indoors and out of doors, and even dancing, without having to take them off.

The zippers on these boots are of very poor quality. One broke before I could even put the shoe on. I had to take it to a tailor to get a rush repair done. Other than the terrible zippers, the boots are fine. You get what you pay for.

These boots look quite nice and worked quite well with my Captain Malcolm Reynolds costume. I walked around in them for about 2 hours and they held up pretty well, but my feet did start to hurt at the end. So great for a costume, not so nice for everyday wear.
