Historical notes: while extremely stylish, this garment is anachronistic. Such a trim fit would be considered racy and eccentric.
The long and the short of it: The skirt was cute, the fabric was a nice cotton and it seemed reasonably well constructed. I purchased a plus-size version of it and used the online measurements guide to determine which size to order. Unfortunately, the skirt was marked with the appropriate size label (what I thought I was getting), but when I tried it on, it was at least one size smaller than what I expected. I suppose this is to be expected with a "fitted" Victorian style skirt.
