NEW Birmingham Pants - Brown Pinstripe (Closeout) [002462S]

Get a leg up in the Industrial Revolution wearing our New Birmingham Pinstripe Pants; these classic trousers all but shout out "dressed for success" early 1900s style! Soft fabric and an adjustable waist ensure you’ll stay comfortable all day, no matter the assignment.

Styled with a straight boot-cut leg, these unlined and unhemmed pants feature two side-entry pockets in the front and two button-fastened pockets on the rear. Additional buttons on the waistband are just waiting for a pair of natty suspenders. Coordinate with our New Birmingham Sack Coat and Vest for a historically accurate late Victorian and early Edwardian period suit.

Please note that these pants sit approximately 1" higher on the body than modern pants do. Therefore, most people need to order one size up from their customary size. Made in the USA. Body 50% Poly/Rayon, 50% Wool. Dry clean only. Available in sizes 30-46, unhemmed with a 36" inseam. Sizes below 30 may be available, call to check stock and pricing.

NOTE: this style replaces the "old birmingham" style, which has been discontinued.

Sizing Notes

As you can see in our photos, our old fashioned trousers sit higher on the body than modern pants do.

For best fit, measure your torso (in inches) just below your belly button, and select this size of trousers.

In many cases, this will be one or more size above your customary pants size.

Inseam

Our trousers come with a 36 inch inseam. If you need them shorter, you will need to have them tailored locally to your desired fit.

These trousers are comfortable and well made. The pin stripes make for a vintage look that sets the outfit apart from cheaper and less authentic costumes.
