Nearly indestructible, these goggles are suited for use in general mechanical risk situations. Sturdy steel rivet construction, with a comfortable leather bridge, adjustable elastic headstrap, side vent flanges, and soft padded leather eyecups for day long comfort. Lightly tinted lenses are shatter resistant (but not -proof,) and lens housing is threaded, allowing circular lenses to be removed or replaced. Lenses measure approximately 2 inches (50 mm) in diameter.
Boys loved them as compliments to their 'mad scientist' Halloween costumes. They wear them constantly. Thinking about getting a third pair just for me.

Amazingly well constructed for the price and they look just as good in person, if not better. The standard lenses are this really neat green glass and though the rings are a little hard to get off the first time around, they unscrew cleanly and without any harm to the lenses, at all. I love these things, I'm using them for sunglasses until I get the rest of my costume together.

These goggles look great and are really comfortable. They really suit the engineer, mechanic or scientist look, and the screw ring feature is useful if you want to personalise the lens colour or style. They arrived at my door a week after ordering them, much shorter than advertised.The only problem is the elastic strap which occasionally comes off when you put them on, probably an easy fix. I've yet to see whether they actually help keep the smoke out of my eyes when lighting up a steam engine!

These Goggles are exactly what I have been Hunting for, they are light weight, vent the eye's to keep from fogging up, completely adjustable, are padded well so they work in both summer and winter, And just scream Mad Scientist! I bought two right off the bat and checked them against each other for any common flaws and couldn't find anything wrong with them! Since then I took a pair out of state to a friends house and let her 4 year old son run rampant with them for almost a week and they came back completely in tact... In fact he liked them so much I ordered him a pair and me an extra one as well to modify! I have ordered 4 Pairs of these total so far two for myself and two as gifts for others and everyone so far has been nothing but...

I was very impressed with the versatility of these screw ring goggles. I work extensively with powdered and liquid dyes and they work exquisitely for my job. I have even managed to get my prescription lenses fit into them, making them super-useful. Now I can get my mad-scientist on without being completely blind while I do it.

This product was very all put together and priced very reasonably to what you get. The only suggestion I would have is replace the elastic strap that comes with it to something a bit more durable, which is an easy cheap fix. A great buy for sure.
