I've wanted these pants for years. I feel a bit foolish for having waited so long to get them. I'm extremely pleased with the quality of construction, and with the quality of the fabric. The fabric is very soft, with great drape, very unlike the stiff, canvas-y fabric that I was expecting. I am very glad that I took the other reviewers' advice and purchased a smaller size than I normally wear. I'm usually a size 8, with a 30 waist. I bought these in a size 4 and they fit my waist perfectly. At 5'2 I'm going to have to have a tailor take them up about four inches, but it will definitly be worth it. They're the bee's knees.

These pants/skirt were more than I hoped for. The quality of the fabric and the workmanship are top quality. The size {8} was perfect.
I want the other colors as well.

The riding skirt is fantastic. I agree with the other review that it is a little large in the waist but that hardly deters from the amazing quality of the construction and fabric. The twill is so soft I didn't want to take it off yet I get the feeling it wears incredibly well and will continue to get softer. I definitely want the riding skirt in the other colors!

This skirt is great. Looks fabulous in either "skirt" or "Pants" mode. It buttons and converts easily, and the fabric is really nice, heavy quality fabric. I think the sizing runs a bit big because I ordered the size I usually wear and the waist is almost 2" too big, but it will be easy enough to take in. Just one word of warning... you can't cross your legs while seated with this item in "skirt" mode...
