Although she speaks barely above a whisper, the sweet and slight Dulcinea Caverleigh gets the message across loud and clear as her fingers pluck prolifically along whatever musical instrument graces her lap, chin or chair. An accomplished luthier, specializing in the design of stringed instruments, Miss Caverliegh’s esteemed reputation has reverberated with a crescendo throughout the arts community.

Free-spirited by nature, Miss Caverliegh enjoys the craft of lutherie as it sends her to the edges of the earth in search of the finest woods for her unique pieces. On a recent expedition to South America she traded her Victorian beads and baubles for several pallets of rare Brazilian Rosewood. While the mandolin, guitar and harp are all popular choices, her patrons prefer the distinct sounds and styles of her own one-of-a-kind creations.
